Current Ph.D. Student, Holden Zimmerman, wins Fulbright Graduate Research Fellowship and Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellowship Award

Holden Zimmerman, a current third-year History Ph.D. student, has been awarded the Fulbright Graduate Research Fellowship and Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellowship Award to conduct research for her dissertation, tentatively titled “Nations, Nurses, and Empires: Female Red Cross Nurses in Global Perspective.” She will be traveling to Senshū University in Tokyo to work with Professor Hirokawa Waka during the 2023-2024 academic year with the Fulbright Foundation.
