We are very excited to welcome Dr. Hannah Shepherd to Yale. Dr. Shepherd brings a wealth of experience and intellectual rigor that will enrich both Japanese history and the History Department at Yale. Dr. Shepherd will be teaching two courses in Fall 2021: Colonial Cities: A Global Seminar and Korea and the Japanese Empire in Critical Contexts. We look forward to seeing the impact of her research and teaching in the coming years.
